Click on one of the following headings to show the tutorial. Or select "expand all" to show all tutorials. Access to the improvement module can be restricted based upon user rights.

  • Viewing improvements

    Select the "Improvements" button on the side menu. Use the flyout to navigate directly to "my improvements". Select an improvement to view the current status.

    Adding an improvement

    Click on Report an Improvement on either the panel or the fly-out menu.

    • Enter the details of the improvement into the form.
    • Additional options are available from the main panel:
    • Originator Type - either other, employee or supplier:
      • Other - you can free type a description of the originator.
      • Employee - a list of all employees will be displayed. The details of the improvement will be automatically added to the selected employee's history.
      • Supplier - a list of all suppliers will be displayed. The details of the improvement will be automatically added to the selected supplier's history.
    • Email:
      • Enter the email address to which the copy or final report will be sent.
    • Send copy to customer:
      • Once the improvement has been raised, a copy will be emailed to the customer.
    • Send final report to customer:
      • OOnce the improvement has been completed, the final report will be emailed to the customer.
    • Administrator:
      • Mango enables your organisation to set up multiple administrators. In this field, click on the administrator to whom you wish to send the improvement.
    • Click on Save.

    Improvement register

    Contains a list of all improvements raised on the system.

    • Click on Improvement on the left panel.
    • Click on Improvement Register on either the panel or the fly-out menu.
    • All improvements logged in Mango will be displayed.
    • Click on the improvement you wish to view.
    • The improvement will open displaying all information and actions to date (in real time).
  • My Investigations

    If you are assigned an improvement to investigate, Mango will notify you via email. My investigations are available through My Zone, of through the Main Menu.

    • Click on My Investigations on either the panel or the fly-out menu.
    • Displayed in the main panel are all of the investigations that have been assigned to you.
    • Click on the improvement you wish to work on. The investigation will be displayed in the main panel.
    • Click on Edit on the left panel.
    • Additional options are available from the main panel:
    • Attach documents:
      • You can attach multiple numbers to support your investigation.
    • Actions:
      • Record the actions carried out.
    • Investigation is done:
      • If you tick this box and the click on Save, the investigation will be sent to the Mango Administrator for review. Please note: if you save but do not tick that the investigation is done, Mango will record your actions to date and the investigation will remain with you so that you are able to add more details at a later date.
  • Re-Opening closed improvements

    Click on Improvement on the left panel.

    • Click on the Reopen Closed Improvement from either the fly-out menu or the main panel.
    • Click the improvement you wish to reopen.
    • Type in the reason for reopening (this will be added to the action log of the improvement).
    • Tick the Confirm box.
    • Click on Save.
  • The report writer allows you to create and record report templates within Mango.

    • Click on Improvement on the left panel.
    • Click on the Reports from either the fly-out menu or the main panel.
    • Create a new report (Add New)
    • Drag any available fields you would like included in the report from the left to the right panel.
    • Double click any field to apply a filter to that field.
    • Click "Run Report" to create a report based on real time system information.
