Webinar Background

The leadership mantra “Zero Harm” has been around for many years.

It is still very popular in New Zealand and I see it is still used in Australia.

The New Zealand Business Leaders’ Health and Safety Forum has a pledge to create “Zero Harm workplaces in NZ”. [Note: The NZ Business Leaders’ Health and Safety Forum is made up of some of New Zealand’s most prominent companies. The Forum includes the regulator Worksafe NZ.]

However, the critics suggests that “Zero Harm is not a model of leadership; it is a model of ignorance, a model of control, a model of obedience and is dehumanising by restricting freedom.”

In this webinar Dr Rob Long from Human Dymensions discusses this really important Safety topic. Dr Long has written multiple articles and a book “For the Love of Zero” on the topic.
